This paper is written to explore the role of litigation management by a consultant with Masters in Business Administration (Consultant). As organisations continue to face multiple possible legal challenges, the need for effective litigation management has become increasingly crucial. Consultants with an MBA posses unique skills and knowledge that can help organisations navigate disputes and mitigate risks. The incorporation of tools like the SWOT analysis is one which is utilised to assess the strength or weakness of a particular project in hand.This paper will examine the skills and expertise that a Consultant can bring in managing litigation, the challenges the organisation may face, and strategies for successfully leading the team.


As we know and probably experienced, litigation is an inevitable aspect of modern business. Effective litigation management is critical for organisations to minimise legal risks and costs. Litigation management involves various activities, including pre-litigation strategy, internal legal case management, pre settlement negotiation, and post-settlement evaluation. It requires a range of skills, including knowledge on how that organisation ticks, strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and project management expertise.
